We apologise that this section was deleted in error ad will soon be updated. When Adopt-a-Pet visited Sweet Home Farm during its rabies inoculation campaign at the end of July 2013, a resident spoke about the need for a permanent animal clinic to be established. While writing this, Sweet Home Farm is under water which is knee deep after the heavy rainfalls. What is clear to us that despite the terrible hardship of living in this place of misery, the residents care deeply about their pets and Adopt-a-Pet has been helping with its regrettably limited resources to help the animals with primary health care and sterilisations since 11 July 2011, when we went in to Sweet Home Farm in the early morning before sunrise to rescue dogs, of which approximately 230 were put down by non-pro-life animal organisations after allegations that a child had been killed by dogs - the allegation was later considered to be unfounded.
