AFTER A LIFE OF TERRIBLE SUFFERING AS A FIGHTING DOG, OUR BELOVED PITBULL ROSS HAS FOUND A GUARDIAN ANGEL IN SILKE, ONE OF ADOPT-A-PET’S OUTSTANDING VOLUNTEERS. ROSS WAS BROUGHT TO OUR SHELTER A WHILE BACK BY AN EQUALLY CARING PERSON CALLED ROSS, AFTER WHOM HE HAS BEEN NAMED AND WHO FOUND HIM ROAMING THE STREETS. ROSS WAS CLEARLY USED FOR FIGHTING AS HIS ONE EYE HAD BEEN BITTEN OUT AND HE WAS FULL OF SCARS.  SILKE HAS TAKEN ROSS UNDER HER WING AND HER THOUGHTS ARE THAT HE WAS PROBABLY STOLEN, BECAUSE HE RESPONDS TO COMMANDS, IS HOUSETRAINED, USED TO SLEEPING ON FURNITURE AND DRIVING IN CARS.

We will shortly add below Ross’s story in Silke’s own words.  We are hoping that someone will respond to our appeal to give Ross the home he so richly deserves by making an appointment to meet him.  He is excellent with people but we recommend that he should be the only dog in the home.
